Bully
January 7, 2009 at 4:26 pm | In My family, My kids were sent here to embarrass me! | 10 Comments
The boys each have very different personalities. That is despite the fact that they all look like different aged versions of the same child.
And the baby, well he is turning into the biggest bully. He bullies even Master C. It’s strange to see your six year old in tears because his almost two year old brother hit him. And the almost two year old is standing there batting his eye lashes looking at you as if “who? me?”.
You can’t turn your back on the baby otherwise he gets into something and the end result is me cleaning. Only to find when I’ve finished cleaning, that he has achieved a bigger and better mess elsewhere.
And silence.
Silence is scary. It means that something bad is happening somewhere in the house.
And he bites. Did I once say that none of my children bite?
Can’t say that anymore. It’s been difficult stopping him from biting. And unfortunately for Moo, he can’t get away from him so ends up being the victim most of the time. Argh!
But, that said, when he isn’t biting or making a huge mess, he is incredibly cute. He asked me this morning if he could “play with hose?”
No. No chance.
Last time we let him play with the hose, he brought it inside and proceeded to wash everything down.
I think the baby has outgrown the name Sumo. What do you think? What is a good pseudonym for him? I have been thinking of Mini C.

Yeah, our youngest is a biter too. I think it might be the powerlessness of being the youngest? Mini C sounds good. But does it capture his cheeckyness enough? Only you can tell. In any case, glad to hear you are still out there, and nice to see the pic of all three of them.

Nah…he is nothing like Master C in personality. He will always be Hose Boy to me, as he certainly does love playing with hoses, be they on or off, he can always get them in a tangle.
Love to all, Mum.

Isn’t it funny how each kid can be so different? They grow up in the same envirnoment with the same parents but where does the personality come from!?!
Wasn’t it Sumo that got bitten last year? Maybe he’s paying everyone back for his being bitten!!

Oh my, those blue eyes…

They are all such beautiful boys! I like Mini C. It’s funny, my little girl, who’s about to be 4, bit Max twice within a two week period about a year ago, then never did it again. Hopefully, Mini C will grow out of it fast, too!

Is that his innocent look because he totally looks like a little angel in that pic

Going by experience, albeit very gorgeous, there’s nothing innocent about the expression on Mr X’s face there – there’s mischeif in those eyes! I’ve seen that look on my own Chuckles’ face! Hope you are making it through the hols ok

I have no better suggestion but I feel with the strength of his personality he needs his own name. I know the C is probably his initial but when you already have a Mister C it might look as though he was mini to him! Clear as mud?
Also by the looks of him he will outgrow the “mini” part quickly and then you will be right back at square one.
Now that’s exactly the advice I always give out about, knocking the suggestion and not putting forward an alternative!
Bye!!

My neighbor has three boys and it is the same thing. If the youngest is upset the older two run. Their father comes from a family of four boys and that is his responce when their mom talks to him about it. He said whenever his youngest brother got mad him and his brothers would run, when the youngest was mad he was the fiercest.
Hmmm a name for Sumo. Hose boy could become problamatic in the future. How about Mr Clean because your cleaning up after him or he is cleaning up with the hose. Maybe not.(Shrug)

You could just shorten the Hose Boy to HB, but then he sounds like a lead pencil. Or you could just call him Embee (MB) or Emjay (MJ) which are his initials and will not to be confused with the other Em … Moo.
